Distribution pattern

With almost consistent distribution throughout the country, with the exception of some treeless mostly agricultural areas in the Danubian plain, the Thracian Plain, the Burgas Plain, etc.

Habitats

Breeds in broad – leaved deciduous, mixed forests, and coniferous forests; in alluvial and riverine forests and brush; as well as in similar secondary habitats like public parks and gardens, especially in forest type parks; as well as in other areas in towns, villages and industrial zones with predominant tree vegetation, including yards, areas with summerhouses, etc. Breeds in riparian or other denser strips of trees, shrubs and mosaics of them, tree and shrub plantations with more densely arranged trees, etc.
