Distribution pattern

Distributed throughout most of the country, especially in mountainous and semi-mountainous areas, but also in lowland forest areas. In recent years, often is found in public parks and gardens in settlements.

Habitats

Breeds in broad-leaved deciduous forests, mixed forests, coniferous forests and strips of trees, shrubs and patches of them, less often – in alluvial and riverine forests and brush. It also nests in settlements and in large parks within them.
