Habitats

Breeds in forests of various types, especially in sparse deciduous broad-leaved forests or at their edges, strips of trees, shrubs and mosaics of them; often along rivers; in alluvial and riverine swamp forests and brush, orchards, tree and shrub plantations, mixed forests, coniferous forests, as well as in public parks and large gardens, yards and in other parts of towns, villages and industrial zones.
