Distribution pattern
With patchy and dispersed distribution in most of the country, with the following exceptions: the higher parts of mountains covered with coniferous forests and in the plains, predominantly agricultural regions with scarce tree vegetation.

Habitats
Breeds mainly in deciduous forests (especially sparse forests of Quercus sp. and Carpinus sp.), alluvial and riverine forests and brush, but also in mixed forests, tree and shrub plantations, in public parks and other places with tree vegetation in unpopulated areas, in sclerophyllous scrub with single or groups of trees, strips of trees, shrubs and mosaics of them between arable lands, shelter belts, etc.
