Population size: 150 – 300 pairs
Distribution pattern
With limited dispersed distribution. Breeds regularly in the southern parts of the Struma Valley and the neighbouring areas, north to the Kresna Gorge. Occurs also around the Studen Kladenets Dam in the Eastern Rhodopes, where it probably breeds in certain years and in smaller numbers. In the breeding grounds has dispersed distribution. The pairs often change the breeding sites, leaving some of them unoccupied in some years.

Habitats
Breeds on exposed, dry hilly sites with single rocks or with group of rocks, cut through by deep ravines with earthen walls, stony gullies, slopes with bushes and low grass.
