Distribution pattern
Distributed throughout the mountains and most high valleys. Patchy and dispersed breeding grounds in the Danubian plain, the Thracian Plain, the Burgas Plain, etc.

Habitats
Breeds in small valleys heavily overgrown with bushes and near streams, brooks or rivers in coniferous forests, broad-leaved deciduous forests, mixed forests, alluvial and riverine forests and brush. It also breeds in older public parks and large gardens, especially in forest type parks with small rivers or streams with dense riverine vegetation, and even in yards with abundant bush and tree vegetation in mountain towns, villages, and industrial areas.
