Distribution pattern

With patchy and less dispersed distribution, limited to rocky areas – the Iskar Gorge, the Fore-Balkan, Central and Eastern Stara Planina, Western Rhodopes, Rila, Pirin, the valleys of the rivers Struma and Arda, the North Black Sea coast, Lomovete, etc. Also breeds in a number of towns: Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas, Stara Zagora, Pernik, Dupnitsa and Samokov.

Breeds on inland cliffs and exposed rocks, on sea cliffs and rocky shores, as well as in towns, villages, and industrial zones.
