Distribution pattern
With widespread almost dense distribution throughout the country, except for some highland forest areas and places without settlements.

Habitats
Synanthropic species, breeds almost exclusively in towns, villages and industrial areas, mainly in the interior of various livestock buildings (stables, haylofts, etc.). It often builds its nests in the houses themselves (under balconies, sheds, uninhabited premises, etc.), as well as in single buildings or farm buildings outside the settlements (including those of a temporary nature). In places along the Northern Black Sea coast it nests on steep rocky shores and in places often visited by people (the caves on Cape Kaliakra and Yaylite, etc.).
