Distribution pattern
Distributed in natural and anthropogenic habitats in most of the country except for the mountainous and some other areas with dense forest cover and no settlements.

Habitats
Breeds in a wide range of habitats, covering open spaces checkered with mosaics of trees and shrubs; often in strips of trees, shrubs and mosaics of them; orchards; tree and shrub plantations; especially groves of Robinia pseudoacacia, Populus sp.; in public parks and other areas in settlements; on the edges of sparse broad-leaved deciduous forests, etc. In many places, rich in food and lacking suitable trees and shrubs, the species build its nests on power-line structures.
