Distribution pattern
Distributed throughout most of the country without some predominantly forested areas in the middle and high parts of the mountains.

Habitats
Breeds mainly in temperate heath and scrub, sclerophyllous scrub, especially in open terrains – pastures, fields, meadows. Also breeds in wastelands, orchards, tree and bush plantations (especially vineyards, abandoned orchards, raspberry plantations, etc.), and strips of trees, shrubs and mosaics of them, preferring those between fields or other arable land. Does not avoid big or located in the outskirts public parks and large gardens, as well as other open areas of towns, villages, industrial zones As an exception can be found in the edges of more sparse forests (mostly deciduous forests), avoiding the dense parts with tall trees.
