Distribution pattern
With patchy and dispersed distribution, covering almost entirely all mountains. With dispersed breeding grounds also in some plain and hilly regions – In the Fore Balkan, Lomovete, the Northern Black Sea coast, the Thracian Plain, Dobrudzha, etc.

Habitats
Breeds mainly on inland cliffs and exposed rocks, but also in or near the entrances of caves. Part of the population builds nests on buildings in towns, villages, industrial zones, on single buildings in the mountains, dams, bridges, etc.
