Distribution pattern
With almost ubiquitous distribution throughout the country except for the alpine areas of the mountains and isolated areas in some lower altitude regions.

Habitats
Breeds in various habitats with a predominance of trees: on the edges or in open broad-leaved deciduous forests, alluvial and riverine forests and brush, mixed forests, less often in coniferous forests, but almost everywhere in public parks and gardens, and other areas in settlements. Very common in orchards, tree and shrub plantations, strips of trees, shrubs and mosaics of them. Sometimes builds its nests in temperate heath and scrub (in the Pinus mugo belt in the subalpine zone).
