Distribution pattern
With dispersed isolated nests in different parts of the country – both in the plains and in the mountains. Some of the observations are probably of birds singing during migration.

Habitats
Breeds in broad – leaved deciduous forests and less often – in alluvial and riverine forests and brush, in all cases – with dense undergrowth. Registered in coniferous forests.
