Almost ubiquitous distribution, except in the middle and high parts of the mountains and some fully forested hilly and foothill areas.

Habitats
Breeds predominantly in towns, villages and industrial zones, both in their highly urbanized parts (yards, roadside trees, spaces between the blocks of flats, etc.) and in public parks and gardens, orchards, tree and bush plantations in the settlements or around them, along roadside or riparian strips of trees, sometimes kilometres from populated areas. Rarely breeds on the edges of broad-leaved deciduous forests.
